"We are THRILLED with the way the path turned out. It is utterly charming with all the rocks and the way it winds...I didn't even want to come to work today, I just wanted to stay home and walk on the path all day."- Mr. & Mrs. R
A model train garden
- Model Trains
We've built quite a reputation over the last few years for our custom train sets.
A small set was built for a cabinetmaker a few years ago, and it ended up winning a state landscape award.
We created a fabulous small train layout garden that earned a gold award from the Northwest Flower and Garden Show a few years ago. That was something. Now we've done about a half a dozen of these. Aren't they cool?
Painstakingly detailed and incredibly fun to research, this is the ultimate toy for the guy who has everything. (Mom, you might want to skip quickly over this section.)
- Planting Beds
Planting is what you think of when you think of landscaping, and nobody does it better than we do. We bring perennials that recur every year, beefy, robust evergreen plants that last all year, and fabulously colorful deciduous shrubs and trees as accents. We have acres of plants to choose from and a uniquely flexible way of working that allows you to "see the plants before you start."
As one of the largest purveyors of Cedar Grove compost in the county, we also rototill or hand-turn your bedsand fertilize all of your new plantings. Best of all, we guarantee it all for one year and offer you a discount card when the dust has settled to shop at the Nursery.
We can also coordinate the construction of all types of outdoor amenities, from pools to sport courts and spas.
Working with us to design this type of construction offers some distinct advantages for you as a client. We design the feature to fit within a budget framework and solicit competitive bids on your behalf as part of your landscape architectural design package.
Most importantly, these features fit within the overall site design, integrating with planting and other construction. We show you how to stage this effort to minimize site damage and perform the construction efficiently.
