This early project incorporated a number of site amenities: patios, boulders, gazebo and walk areas, a perennial garden and finally, a swimming pool.
We planned the pool, coordinated bids from various pool builders, and even showed the mason how to "overscore" the walk - that is, cut a few more expansion joints to help control cracking. Of course, cracks in concrete are inevitable. We just wanted to tell it where to crack.
