Nichols
The Nichols have the kind of house that begs to be in any garden portfolio. Vast lawn areas and a beautiful log home are nestled into a wooded area.
We originally picked plants from Sunset's deer-proof list, and the deer made a fabulous lunch out of them. Then we knuckled under, did some real research, and replaced the plants under warranty. The new plants fared much better.
That allowed us to concentrate on the slate walkways, boulders and perennial beds. This project won a Grand award from the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals.
