Case Studies
Need some ideas? After 25 years of designing and building a wide variety of outdoor projects, it's hard to encapsulate them all in one place. Classic 'Case Studies' discuss individual projects that we have completed over the years and we have pictures sorted by type for you to review as well.

Wanta residence/Spectrum Controls
Working on the shores of Lake Sammamish, the Wantas had us reconstruct some damaged walkways and build a new heavy rock connection to the dock that will resist the rising tide. Our ideas included granite ball accents and an expanded and matched slate patio sweep that improves and complements the existing front walk reinforce the entry axis. The motor court wall was fitted with granite and ledgestone boulder integrated together, a new entry faux-stone wall was constructed and planted accent pots were placed throughout. At Spectrum, we provided a landscape architectural plan for the site and built natural walkways and an employee break patio with basalt column water feature. In Mr. Wanta's company courtyard, we built a large basalt column water feature accented by copper colored large format flagstone and accented with tumbled red color recycled glass. Lit from below the glass, the red illumination casts up the columns in a spectrum of red and copper color, complementing the varied copper planted accent pots placed inside and outside the building. This was a comprehensive landscape architectural planning effort that included the clients home and business as well interiorscape.
