It is here that he derives both spiritual grounding as well as inspiration for how to better design in harmony with the patterns of nature.

  • Mandie Hawkins • Landscape Design Assistant

    + -

Mandie is our designer responsible for creating the basemaps of newly signed projects. With her measurements and (way) more than a handful of photos taken of a property’s existing features, she provides a great foundation for her fellow designers to create their landscape designs upon.

Having spent 20 years working behind the bar at one of Seattle’s iconic restaurants, this northwest original gal is our only landscape designer that can specify an ‘Arnold’s promise’ and mix an Arnold Palmer–at the same time. You’ll find Mandie outside your kitchen window, sketching and listing which plants to save, which to prune, and which to throw out like a badly mixed Manhattan.

After making the move from renting to owning a home, Mandie quickly realized what a big difference a few well-placed plants could make to one’s well-being. So, with a University of Washington Graphic Design degree under her belt, she decided to go back to school to earn an additional degree in Landscape Design from Edmonds College. Wasting no time, she secured her first job before securing her degree!

In her free time, Mandie enjoys making jewelry, paddleboarding, and participating in 5K fun runs.
